We made an Irish language short film in June 2020 in collaboration with Shaun Dunne.

Dúirt Tú (you said) is a riff on the Don Jose and Carmen story from the opera Carmen. Combining original composition with poetic text and visuals (by Luca Truffarelli), the film expresses the frustration of trying to connect.

Directed by Zoe and Shaun, featuring Mufutau Yusuf and Maud Lee, we were delighted when the film received Best Director award at Cork International Film Festival 2020. It has since been screened at Raindance Film Festival in London and Kerry International Film Festival.

We were commissioned by Project Arts Centre and Oileán and we received funding from Dublin City Council.
